Grooms cake for a black and white themed rock and roll wedding. This was my second guitar so I felt much more confident about it. Still had trouble with one of the corners though.
Made this for a friend last minute. I totally cheated and used DH red velvet and cream cheese frosting.
My first attempt at "topsy turvy". A little more frustrating than I expected. Also my first time making royal icing. It sure helped glue the spider legs back on. (Darn things kept breaking off!)
Had a friend help with this one. She did the "paint" job and the smaller chips. Used 3 stacked 12 inch rounds because I wanted it to be really big. The birthday girl loved it! Too bad I didn't take the time to clean up before taking pictures! lol
Supreme pizza! So easy. The kids made all the fondant parts...pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, and black olives. The only hard part was getting the white chocolate SMBC red. I used almost all of my Americolor Super Red and it still looked pink. Out of frustration, I threw in some brown and black. The color deepened as it sat but I still wish it were a bit more red. Oh well, still love it.
