I made this cake for my nieces christening. It is my first attempt to a quilted design and making baby shoes. It was inspired by a cake my sister found online. I was happy with it but I was afraid to press on the fondant and cut it, I guess I need more practice on this technique and I need to find out if I need to have a bit more buttercream on the cake to get the quilt design to show better.
