2 layer chocolate cake with FBCT
this cake represents a lot of firsts for me .... 1st FBCT, 1st 1/2 and 1/2 cake although it is more like 3/4 chocolate and 1/4 marshmallow since the marshmallow recipe made so much less than the chocolate recipe. It was also the first time I used a flower nail as a heating core and it worked perfectly! All icing and decorations are BC.
this was a carrot cake made for a dinner party in a springform pan, torted and filled with chream cheese frosting. Iced in cream cheese frosting, decorated with Royal Icing carrots and small orange flowers. *it wasn't lopsided like the pic shows, I just need to take better pics LOL*
A fantasy chocolate cake torted and filled with raspberry filling. Buttercream frosting and chocolate ganache *that came out too thick* then decorated with buttercream rosettes and fresh raspberries in the midst of zoo animals at the request of the 7 yr old birthday girl. This cake was made for the adults' pleasure ;)
