This was my first attempt at doing scroll work....I think I need more practice....hahaha....This cake is a yellow cake with vanilla bc and rummf with bc scroll work...think next time i will try RI. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

This cake was made for a 10 yr. old girl who loves fruit bats. The tree is made from pvc and covered in modeling chocolate. The bat is made of rice cereal treats and modeling chocolate. All the decorations are made from fondant or gum paste. The cake is a double chocolate fudge layered with chocolate b/c. This cake turned out better than I could have imagined, especially since it is my fourth cake.
This is the second cake I have ever made. The bottom is pumpkin apple spice cake layered with bc. The middle tier is chocolate walnut layered with bc. and the lady bug shell is butter pecan cake. Everything is made out of fondant and gumpaste. Not too bad for a second cake...and my daughter loved it.
This is the third cake I have ever made. (just starting out) It is three layer french vanilla with bc on the first tier and two layer triple chocolate cake with chocolate bc on the top tier. Everything else on this cake is fondant. My niece loved it for her baby shower...so much that nobody wanted to cut into it and eat it...lol I guess that's a good thing...right?
