These were frosted Rice Krispy treats for a little girl who is allergic to dairy, wheat, and eggs. Her favorite show is Kipper the dog.
An animal cake made for a 4th b-day party at the zoo. THe kids had a blast getting hands on with some real animals and the birthday boy wanted to eat the gumpaste one's but his mom wouldn't let him.

I made these cupcake toppers for my daughter's preschool for Dr. Seuss' birthday. I drew and painted these fish by hand on gumpaste cutouts.
This is my first modeling after getting Aine2's tutorials. Made for a baby shower for a mom that doesn't know the sex of the baby. I should have made the blanket a bit thicker and found a better way to hide the cardboard round that the baby is on.
Pretty princess cake modeled after one I found here. (I can't remember whose) The party got moved up and the large gumpaste crown broke the night before, so I had to improvise. I wish the crown had been larger, so I gave the mother a plastic tiara and let her decide which to put on for the party.

Inspired by many other CC cakes. My daughter loved it SO much she carried the Elmo part around for the better part of an hour.
Combined a CC cake by errica and a really cute sticker that I saw at the store. It didn't get quite done before I ran out of time and had to pick my daughter up from preschool.(Then it had little kid fingerprints too!) The icing is still a little bit rough and it didn't get a border, but I LOVE how the cake came out. I was worried because I freehanded it.
This was my version of helipops cool monkey shower cake. Monkey and rattle are gumpaste covered RKT, the cake is covered in fondant and the other accents are gumpaste.
This is a semi-recovery from serious cake disasters. I had major cake problems, so I bought an undecorated cake to put the sign and gumpaste figures on.....but the cake had the icing pulling away and wasn't level or had straight sides. I patched it up as best as possible and covered it with fondant.
I made this while on vacation. I am feeling pretty good about it for a cake made in an unfamiliar kitchen in humidity conditions I am not used to and in a hurry.
