Bubble Cake
A friend asked me to make a little birthday cake for her sister plus 2 dozen cupcakes. All she said was that it was a cocktail party and the color scheme was pink, aqua and black. I used Satin Ice black fondant & it covered the 6 inch cake really well! The little silver baubles were silver Sixlet chocolate candies you can buy at Party City in big bags for $6! Awesome!

Toy Story Cake
2 tier white cake with strawberry banana filling. Red & Black Satin Ice fondant used. Little figures are made of fondant and Buzz & Woody out of Gum Paste. My son had a TS stencil forever & never used it. I tried rolling out the fondant on top of it and the design transferred flawlessly! I hand painted the colors using a paint brush and food colors! Enjoy!

Marylin Monroe
This one I love...at it wasn't as hard as I though it would be! I found a popart of Marilyn on the internet, printed & cut it out - I traced it onto the cake when it was really cold so it wouldn't stick - I filled it in with pink frosting & when it crusted over I used a Viva paper towel to gently smooth the lines...just added some quick flowers on the sides & sprinkled it with sparkling sugar!

Sam's Sweet 16
Both teirs were rolled in sparkling sugar while they were still cold & easy to handle with bare hands then I added the pink scrolls and the #16- I meant to make it a full 3 teirs, an 8, 6 & 4 but it felt a bit unstable so I set some extra cupcakes on top instead & surrounded the 4 in teir with the rest of the cupcakes....the birthday girl LOVED it!

Headstone Cake
This is 2 13x9 white cakes with strawberry filling. Trimmed top corners so it would resemble a tombstone. The client asked for cream cheese icing, but I made a really thin gray vanilla buttercream to spread on it and I'm really dissapointed that you can't see in the photo how it almost looked like marble with the white showing through. I found a creepy font on WORD & drew it freehand onto the cake. Black frosting lines, a bit of black sprinkles & some sparkling sugar finished it off.

Simple Polka Dot
Here is a cake I made for a good friend of mine. It is 2, 8 inch layers of white cake filled with a pound of strawberries and frosted in a silvery vanilla buttercream. I wrapped fondant around the sides and cut the dots out of fondant also. I bordered the bottom of the cake with a black ribbon to make the writing really stand out. I finished in off by sprinkling sugar crystals on top.
