I made these cupcakes for my son's birthday. I used the grass tip for the cupcakes and made candy lollipops.
This is a buttercream cake. I used the grass tip for the base and star tips and a ball pan for the sports balls.
The bottom layer is chocolate cake with raspberry mousse filling and the top was a yellow cake with almond custard filling. It is iced in buttercream and the topper is made with artificial flowers. The cascading flowers and butterflies are gumpaste and royal icing.

This was my very first "classic" sheet cake. It is a golden yellow cake with raspberry mousse filling. The frosting is whipped and the accents are buttercream.

Thanks to mac95 for the idea. I made this for three of the graduates of a therapy group I led. A main theme of the group is learning to "ride the wave of emotion". It is a vanilla cake with chocolate pudding filling. The "sand" is graham cracker crumbs.

To further practice my skills I learned in my Wilton 1 class, I threw this buttercream cake together for my mom's birthday. I really enjoy using the star tip. As always, I appreciate comments and suggestions so I can further strengthen my skills.
This was my fourth fondant cake and my first tiered cake. The fondant was not as perfect as I would like, but I am still happy with how it turned out since I am an amateur. I would appreciate feedback as I am trying to improve my skills with every cake. This is for my daughter's 4th birthday. The crown and photo topper are obviously not edible.

I think this turned out cute considering I think clowns are freaky! My daughter broke my cake carrier so the cake got smooshed on the way to class, but I guess it turned out ok. I am the one who turned 30, so it seemed silly to make my own cake but since I had to make one anyways, it did not make sense for someone else to have to buy me a cake. It is a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and buttercream for the decorative extras.
