I needed to quickly put together a cake for a baby shower cake in a few hours for a friend. This was a quick baby shower book. Ideally I would have liked to let the "cover" of the book dry for a couple of days. I did the cover and put it on the same day. I consider it a soft cover :)

Car and bike were modeled off of the birthday man's car and bike. The car is pistachio cake and filling ~ 16 x 9 covered in MMF. The bike is painted gumpaste. That bike gave me SO much trouble I was happy to be done with it. TFL!
A co-worker requested a cake to surprise his wife on her birthday. It was a remake of her favorite photo of her dog. The photo was of a dog and the wine bottle. The cake is chocolate brownie cake layered in chocolate buttercream The head, feet and bottle was cereal treats. Covered in MMF and chocolate fondant. TFL!
A cake that I made with my daughter for her friends birthday party. She molded the chess pieces, painted the flower petals and made the ribbon. I made the book and molded the apple. The cake and buttercream icing is made with splenda. I personally did not like the taste of the buttercream but enjoyed making the cake.
This cake was fun but time consuming. I have only been decorating for 2 months and am VERY happy with how this turned out. I can see all of the places where I need to improve but I am enjoying the journey. My son and his friend are sharing a birthday and they love their cake! It is half chocolate chocolate chip and half peanut butter cake. The controllers are RKTs. TFL!

Cake layers top to bottom; yellow, strawberry and white chocolate with white chocolate chips. Strawberry buttercream icing covered in dark chocolate fondant and fondant squares. This was only my fifth cake so I did not have high expectations but am very happy with the way it turned out. Thank you everyone for inspiring me every day!
This is the 4th cake I have made. I am really pleased with it. It is chocolate cake with cream cheese icing and MMF. It is the first time I made MMF. I like the taste much better than the other W-brand Fondant. No special occassion just enjoying being creative.
