I juat made this for one of our war heros celebrating his 90th birthday. The design is of the royal marines crest. It reduced him to tears. He was so happy and touched. I love it when a cake can make someone feel like that. It's worth all the time and effort.
OK, this is now my favourite cake I've made so far. I love it. It's a surprise for my dad's 50th birthday party tomorrow. I'll let you know what he thinks. I painted the faces using a little vodka and black sugarflair. The letters were created using flowerpaste and fmm cutters.
I made this cake for my friends charity. We raffled the cake to raise money. I was really pleased with the end result as I had never made a cake like this. I love a challenge.
I made this cake for baby girl's first birthday last week. It was my first numeral shaped cake. I attempted a castle cake first and decided as I finished I hated it so I did this the next day. I am a bit crazy. If i'm not happy with it.... it just won't do.
This was the cake which made my decision to complete a sugarcraft and cake decorating course. I had never done anything like this before and as money was tight decided to my own cake. I stuck the butterflies on with edible glue.
This was my first tier cake. It was for my mum's 50th. It took me about 18 hours in total Haha
While on my cake decorating course it was my brothers birthday. He was actually 28 but said to make him a fun childrens cake so this is what I came up with. He loved it !!!
This is my favourite cake I have made so far. I just love it. I brushed lustre dust over the base and the letters so it was very sparkly.
