This is my first attempt to bake a real cake & icing from scratch AND work with fondant. I found out about the horrid effects that humidity can have on icing & fondant but I think for my first try, it turned out pretty well! I should also add that I threw on the fondant in a HURRY! My daughter's party started at 1:30 and I was finishing up at 2. My mom and sister were rolling the balls while I was frantically cutting and throwing things on. You can see that my icing didn't smooth too well :o(
