I was asked to come up with a Mario & Sonic The Hedgehog cake. This is what I came up with. Also they wanted Strawberry Shortcake for the cake. So it is Pound Cake with layers of fresh strawberries and covered with real whipped cream. I stabilized it with piping gel. Mario & Sonic are hand drawn on Fondant and the rings and mushrooms are made from gum paste. The only butter cream on the cake is the red and blue strips. The "grass & sky" are fondant on a cake board. I also included the cupcakes that were also ordered. More for the better view of the mushrooms.

Our oldest is a total super hero fanatic! For his 6th birthday I took his favorite show and did the best I could to represent them in cake. The small cake has the logo to the "Squad" and is in Iron Man colors. Then we have Wolverine, Hulk, Caption America, and Spider Man.
Ok I rushed this cake for my son's 4th birthday. He told me when I was done that Thomas was number one not 4. So he knew who it should have been. I used the Wilton 3D cake pan, it isn't really the right shape for Thomas, but I think it came out better then if I tried to carve it.
Made this for my neighbors daughter's wedding shower in under 24 hours. Made the chocolate shells too. Her colors where blue and silver. You cant see from the photos but there are edible silver hearts sprinkled on it.

A friends son was having a movie party and we were watching Disney's Princess and the Frog. Since it was for a boy I didn't want to make something girly so, this is what I came up with. After serching for swamp cakes I found one on CC to use as my guide. It is Yellow and Chocolate cake with a chocolate haselnut filling and a white chocolate butter cream topped with MMF with fondant, gumpaste and royal icing decorations
My son loves Scooby Doo, Batman, Transformers and the color green! It butter cream with my mmf recipe fondant accents. I had painted scooby doo's face. The batman side is my best at recreating my son's bat cave toy.
I made this cake for my oldest son's indoor pool party at school. Got the idea from a mag cover. The water is blue jello and the pool deck is covered with ground vanilla waffers on top of buttercream. The rest of the decorations are gummy candys, skittles, teddy grams and gum.
