My youngest son's Birthday today and he wanted a Scooby cake. A chocolate cake with butter cream icing and i cut out Scooby from fondant, ( unaware that lots of people use transfers aka edible images) now i know why they look so great) wish i had thought of that but spent so time drawing and cutting out.
My attempt at "Dora" for a friends grandaughter's birthday. A chocolate cake covered with buttercream and i cut out all Dora's features with fondant, and my first go at piping a shell border.
My very first attempt at using fondant. I covered my moist chocolate cake with a little buttcream then with the fondant. It was for my son's 7th Birthday, he was impressed. It thought it was so much fun and would love to learn more, i am self taught ( i have never attended a class at all) and just copied a picture of a dvd case.
