Sweater Cake
made this one for my Grandpa for father's day! It really was just a test cake for trying out a scratch chocolate recipe, as well as my family's first time ever trying IMBC!!! This stuff really melted in my hands as I decorated this cake! I was in a big hurry when I did this cake! It turned out pretty good for being slapped together!

Snow White Cake
made this one for my daughter's 3rd birthday, since she's obsessed with Snow White. I bought an actual Disney Snow White doll, stripped her, and jammed her into a cake baked in Wilton's dress form. Next time I'll remove the legs first! Decorated her with fondant. She sits upon a 10' square chocolate cake filled with chocolate mousse. Royal icing flowers She couldn't have been happier!!!

Wedding Dress Cake
my version of the popular bride's dress cake for my cousin's shower. 12' round, white cake with scratch raspberry mousse filling. Iced in vanilla IMBC. Colours picked to match the bridesmaid dresses. Dress and flowers are fondant. Ended up making the skirt for the dress in two peoces, as every time I went to pleat from the middle out, the fondant tore.

Wwe Birthday Cake
this was really a good learning experience! Mostly copied from a picture of a cake I had spotted somewhere online, I made this cake with only 2 days notice! (Had I had more time, I'm confident it would have been much straighter and cleaner). Made for a friend who's son loves WWE. Screwed plastic wilton supports right into the bottom of the board after aftuffing them with some wood, then covering in black fondant. The rope is cord, purchased from a local sewing store... looks just like the real thing!!! The client provided me with the WWE figures, which I just "glued" on with a dab of icing. Would love to make this cake again, this time I would at the very least do a much better job on the fondant work!

Fire Truck Cake
a welcome home cake for a friend who recently became a firefighter! Made from enhanced yellow cake mix, iced/filled in a fudge recipe I came up with (that held up rather well under all that fondant!) covered in red fondant, painted silver with Wilton silver dust and some vodka! Built a wooden frame under (which was painted black), and covered foam tires with fondant, placed to look like it was actally standing on the tires, but really was resting on the wood, the tires just placed along side! Fed over 60 people! I'm so please with how this turned out, especially since it was my first attempt at a 3D cake!

Kayak Birthday Cake
made for a client who's dad's two fav things are his yellow kayak and his black lab! White cake, filled with scratch strawberry mousse, iced in decorators icing, kayak, rocks, and dog formed from fondant/gum paste mix. This was my very first time sculpting anything, so naturally, I am proud! however, I do think I could do a much better job on the dog if given another chance!

Smirnoff Ice Bottle Cake
made for a close friend's 30th birthday, Smirnoff ice is her fav drink! carved from a 16" x 41/2"wide loaf pan, WASC with decorators icing and covered in fondant. Tried to use the edible markers, but they dug into the icing, so, I mixed some vodka with wilton food colouring and painted away!
