This Rubber Ducks Baby Shower themed cake was designed for one of our returning clients who is throwing a baby shower at the office for a friend. This golden yellow cake is triple stacked with butter cream icing between each layer. The bubbles are edible but the two rubber ducks are obviously not. This cake serves up to 15 comfortably.
Created for a new client of ours, this Little Prince birthday cake took extraordinarily long due to the fondant crowns not wanting to cooperate. They kept falling, cracking & wrinkling until the third attempt. The double layer. three tier cake cake is vanilla with real butter cream icing. The cake came in at a sizable, 35lbs!! Lots of sugar and butter. If you are wondering what the letters that are near the top of the crown represent, they spell the birthday boys name all the way around the crown. Jayden

This Thomas the Tank semi-custom cake was a hit for a couple of twin boys and their birthday party in Charlotte NC. There are a couple of accessories placed on this cake as a finishing touch that are reusable like the roof as well as the face. While Im not as satisfied as I would like to be with the red lines on the back of the engine, weve been practicing quite a bit more on getting these types of details perfected.

This custom birthday cake was a collaborative design effort with a brand new client of Kenfections here in the Charlotte area. Britt wanted his wifes 30th birthday to be something she would not forget. We bounced a few ideas back and forth for the cakes theme until we came to the idea for a UNC Tarheels theme in honor of his wife whos Alumni & LOVES the Tarheels. This cake is really three different cakes that combine to serve over 100 of Britts and Julies closest friends and relatives. The cake is half vanilla and half chocolate double layered with our signature butter cream icing. Everything you see in the photo, including the springs that represent the basketballs bouncing, are edible. Again I must thank Britt & Julie for trusting Kenfections for their first cake with us which had to be a hit, after all, you only turn 30 once!

The design was inspired to capture Kims HGTV websites color pallet hiding under the Lowes pagoda as it is peeled back. I had a lot of fun building this cake

This Eddie Van Halen Guitar Hero Inspired birthday cake is for my 8 year old son whoâs recently mastered the Guitar Hero Series of games on Nintendoâs WII. The little monster even plays the game on some type of HYPER speed with his back turned which makes me wonder what he will do with that skill later in life. Itâs a hilarious sight to see and Iâll try to get a video of him in action posted soon. The cake is vanilla with a chocolate handle. The photo you see here does not have the guitar strings in place yet since I came up with a better solution for them tonight and I have to run to the store tomorrow to pick up the product. Yes, again this cake is fondant over our signature butter cream icing which is getting huge accolades recently from our customers. This birthday cake is a yard long and should serve 25 to 30 kids.
This cake is exactly 3 feet long and 1 foot wide. It was designed for the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship kickoff at Lowe's Corporate Office this week. The Trophy cake I did for Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus can also be found in my collection here
This cake was for Hendrick Motorsports Team 48 and their official kickoff to start their 4 CONSECUTIVE attempt at the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Jimmie Johnson & Chad Knaus were there to get everybody fired up.
Whipped icing for this one. Very simple design that fed 8 kidos.
