Baby Block Cake
This cake was made for a co-worker's baby shower. I carved the block using 3 layers of cake, and squared it off at 4inches on all sides. It's supported on the cake using plastic columns underneath. The sides are kinda light, but it was a plaid pattern I made using several tips of different widths.

Titans Grad Cake
A friend's daughter graduated from Nashua High School North - their logo is the Titans. I tried 'flooding' the icing, but am not sure I did it right. I thinned my icing by just adding some water. While it filled the space I needed, weird white stuff floated to the top of the icing. I presume it was shortening, but am also pretty sure it shouldn't have happened. If anyone could tell me the proper way to thin icing for flooding, I'd be much obliged. Thanks!
