I loved making this cake. I looked at several pictures here on Cake Central and was inspired by quite a few! Everything is edible. The trees took SEVERAL days to dry. Buttercream cake with gum paste accents.
Topsy turvy 8/6. The tea cup was made from gum paste and hand-painted. Cat face was hand-cut. Everything was edible!
This cake was carved from a 16x16x2 cake. The sides were covered with black fondant. The top decorations were cut from modeling chocolate! I painted it silver. I think it made it "pop" and be more 3D by doing this.
This is a 14/10/8/8/6. All fondant covered cakes. Hand-painted. Decorations are gum paste. I used sugar sheets and embossing machine for the gears on the corset. The top hat is made from RKT and 1.5 pounds of modeling chocolate. Everything is edible on this cake with the exception of the feather LEDs in the goggles and the wires.
Bowl of Pho. Everything is edible except for the chopsticks. The bottom tier is a 7x7 chocolate cake covered in buttercream and then in fondant. The bowl is RKT covered in buttercream and then fondant. The noodles, shrimp, green onions are fondant. It was easy and fun to make. Came together pretty quickly!
All buttercream. Brown sugar and cake crumbs with dried cranberries for the stuffing. Real lettuce.
All buttercream except tomato slices. Broiled leftover cake scraps the fries.

This is a double layer 10 inch and 8 inch tiered cake filled and covered in buttercream. Fondant stripes and polka dots. Gum paste baby shoes, lettering and monkey.

I fashioned this cake after a cake I saw here on CC. I honestly don't remember her moniker, but her cake inspired me. All make up is made from fondant. Purse is a six inch cake cut in half. TFL.
This was a dual birthday cake for a two and four year old. Each cake is an eight inch bottom tier and 6 inch top tier. All fondant accents with the exception of the cars, which the customer provided. Chocolate rocks and sugar sand piles!
I love these little guys! Perfect cake for boss's day today. Three 6" spice cakes filled with apple pie filling. All fondant accents with the exception of the glasses, which are plastic.
