Poker cake I made for my sister's 40th. Chips and cards are made of store bought fondant. Homemade Chocolate MMF covering the cake.
Logo was made using candy melts.
Cake for our Chix with Stix hockey coach. The colors on the sides are the colors for the five teams. I kind of wish I didn't add them, but it's too late now. I do like the gumpaste hockey stick and puck. The tape is fondant and the puck is covered in fondant as well.
This is a cake I made for my young cousin who is recovering from spinal surgery. I wanted to try making little gum paste bees so I thought this would be a good opportunity. They could use a little work but not too bad!
My cousin asked me to come up with a Key West themed cake for her husband. She was surprising him with to Key West for his birthday which is about 5 months away. This was my second time using gum paste and I had a lot of fun!
First attempt at gum paste figure. This was for my hockey team's cookout.
This was first attempt at fondant.

Katie wanted chocolate on chocolate and I didn't want to add a bunch of colors on the chocolate so I used white chocolate to make decorations. I added the chocolate covered strawberries because they are one of her favorites.
