My first topsy turvy cake! I was pretty happy with the way it turned out. I covered all 3 layers in fondant. The zebra stripes are hand cut from black fondant. Thanks for looking!
This was for my cousin's 3rd b-day. He loves John Deere & farming so the bottom layer is a 2 layer cake w/ buttercream icing I tinted sky blue w/ gumpaste fence & cow. The top layer is a 2 layer cake w/ buttercream icing that I tinted golden yellow and drug a fork through to make it look like a bale of hay. There is also a gumpaste pig in royal icing "mud" on the bottom corner. There were also green & yellow John Deere cupcakes to go along with it. For the topper I just used a toy tractor.
This is a half sheet cake that I did for my cousin's b-day. It's half choc/ half white with buttercream icing.
