50 And Fabulous
This cake was made for a 50th birthday party. The birthday girl and her friends all wore t-shirts that said "50 and Fabulous" and they wanted a cake to match! Vanilla cake with BC and MMF accents. Though you can't really see them from this angle, there are purple and red tiles on the side of the cake that match the top border. The word fabulous was made glittery by piping the word in piping gel, then covering it in sanding sugar, using a paint brush to get out the extra out of the nooks and crannies.

Big Red Bow
I made a few cakes to be raffled off for a cancer benefit. The day of the benefit was also the guest of honor's birthday, so I threw a cake in for him too. It was Neapolitan style cake, with layers of dark chocolate and vanilla cake with strawberry BC filling, covered in MMF with MMF polka dots and a gumpaste bow.

Autumn Colors
I wish I could have given this cake more attention. I was asked late Wednesday night for a cake for Friday morning, and even though I haven't slept in a week, I agreed to it. The fondant work left a lot to be desired, but I'm trying not to dwell on it, haha. It was for my dad for work, and he really loved it, so I guess I can't be too nitpicky. TFL!!

Happy Birthday, Bryson!
This was made for my friend's son, Bryson, to celebrate his very first birthday! Cake is yellow WASC with chocolate BC filling. My friend and her husband always call Bryson their little monkey, so I thought it was fitting to give him a banana shaped smash cake! Hopefully if you ever do a monkey cake, you'll be in the right frame of mind to give the little guys some nostrils! I can't believe I forgot them!! haha TFL :)

Soccer Ball Smash Cake
This is the smash cake I did for my friend's son's first birthday. Cake is Choco-Chip Mint WASC with buttercream and fondant accents. I had originially tried to pipe out the design, but somehow the pattern proved to be a very worth adversary. So, instead of having a misshapen pattern, I star tipped the entire survace and cut out fondant pieces instead.

Ducky Beach Cake
This cake was an utter failure. It was supposed to be a cheerleader cake, but through a series of unfortunate events, I found myself an hour and a half before delivery, and no idea what to put on it! Sand is graham crackers and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, water is piping gel. Accessories were purchased at a party supply store. Cake is WASC with banana creme filling.

Camp Rock!
This was for my friend's daughter's 7th birthday. She was having a Camp Rock party. This was my second attempt at fondant, and at least it looks better than my first. For the logo, I printed out a picture from the internet, then cut out each individual piece and used it as a template, cutting out the fondant with a paring knife. Cake is WASC with pudding filling. The birthday girl was SO excited when she saw it!!
