The dummy was covered in foondant, the ribbon is also in fondant. The pearls are royal icing. Another variation of Edna's cake but I couldn't manage to attach a whole ribbon around the tier so I chose the easy option - still looks sophisticated and glam, don't you think?
I piped royal icing pearls on the side (took ages!), then I painted it with snow flake lustre dust so they sparkle. The bow is made of fondant. It is a chocolate cake but I over filled it with buttercream and it started bulging, hope its not too noticable in the picture.

Cake with brush embroidery and sugar roses. I originally created and brush embroidery as a run out the night before but when I was just about to place it on top of the cake with royal icing, it cracked! I then decided to do the design free-hand and without any template. From now on I'll probably do this as it was much easier and less hassle.
