The cake topper was a bow made of string licorice, but I didn't take into account the August heat. It melted and ended up looking like a tarantula on top of the cake :-P Lesson learned!

Seashell wedding cake. Fondant ribbon, gumpaste shells, royal icing coral, poured sugar mosaic tiles. I did not ice the tiers as I had far to travel for this wedding. I did all the sugar work and decorating.
