Similar to another cake I have on here. Changed up the colors and stuff. Vanilla cake with BC frosting. All accents are MMF, except the toothpicks I used for the flags. My return customer called me up the Monday before Labor Day and told me she needed 2 cakes, one for a graduation cake, and one for a 13 year old birthday boy. She said she needed one MMF, and one BC. Well, she said for me to do what I do. LOL! I was excited and called my husband to tell him, but in the excitement I forgot to ask her a few more questions...LOL! Well, I called her back and told her that I try to be good, but I need some inspiration. I asked what the 13 year old was into and she said anything electronic. hence my recent upload of my gaming cake... I should have asked more about the graduating boy, considering I found out when I dropped the cakes off, she told me it was for her nephew getting his masters. Oops....:( But she LOVED both cakes and so did the BOYS!!!! Well, and everyone else. So, I did good I guess. Not enough time in a week to do both cakes and have them be fresh and dropped off by Saturday on a holiday weekend, when I am having a party the next day...LOL! UGH!!! But, I got through it. I'm just thrilled that everyone of them loved it. I hope you enjoy them too. TFL!!!
Cake was Vanilla with BC frosting. Covered in Marshmallow Fondat. All things on top, Game Disc, Controller, MP3 player and cord,were all MMF accents. Was a pain let me tell you. Of course I would have like to have made the controller to scale, but was limited on time.
My customer wanted cupcakes for her sister's 30 year anniversary. Her sis wanted brown and turqoise. So I did just tthat. I even colored the cupcake batter turqoise. My client raved and raved. TFL!
Thanks to all CC members for their ideas! The sand is crushed and sifted cinnamon grahams, honey teddy grahams, mini nilla wafers, and sparkling organic sugar. Everything is fondant except the shot glasses. My customer wanted a Hawaii themed caked for the grandmother's 80th Anniversary. I saw the shot glasses and thought they would be a great addition to the cake. The client LOVEd the cake so much. As always, alot of people commented on how GREAT the cake looked. TFL!!!
I made the animals like 2 days in advance. My absolute favorite is the Elephant. I just couldn't get the monkey and the lion the way I wanted them. The circus tent on the cake was 2 bowl cakes I trimmed down, and I covered with Starburst and Air Head candies. She was SO happy with the cake! She and another mom told my husband it was the BEST tasting cake ever! I'm so excited. But, I have found that I do not charge enough for my cakes. I always go all out because I don't do anything half way. And I've been afraid of losing business. I really enjoyed making these cakes. They were alot of fun! TFL!

My customer wanted pink with brown polka dots. This is what I came up with. She wanted a "funfetti" cake. I used an 8in and a 10in. This was also my very first time actually stacking a cake too!! I'm a glutton for punishment! LOL! I hope she likes it and is not disappointed. TFL!
Everything on the cake is edible. I loved making this one. Most of my customers give me creative rights! LOL! The woman who ordered this told me that she didn't care what my cakes looked like, she just knows they taste dang good! LOL

I got this idea from a DVD I bought online. Very fun cake, and very fast to put together. Rolled out some of my MMF like a banner and piped Happy Birthday on it.
It's not MLB, its minor league. It is my son's team logo. It took me forever to come up with the design. It wasn't that easy. I took black dyed fondant, and rolled out a plaque. Then I rolled out some spaghetti pieces of fondant and out lined by site the logo and went from there. Everyone was so AMAZED! This is one of the cakes I am most proud of.
This was very fun to make. I didn't have a shirt pan, so I made a pattern out of a cake board. It all most was a disaster. The cake broke on me while trying to move to the fridge, in 3 place. You would never know to look at it...LOL

Something that I threw together for my father n law
right after the hurricane. I got the idea from the internet. They were absolutely fun to make. I would suggest if you get the chocolate covered grahams, you check the date on them, because they tend to melt in transit or somewhere. I had to buy like 4 packages to have enough grahams that looked good enough to put on the cupcakes. It got 2 orders from the cupcakes from the secretary at school and a teacher. Since then I have had another teacher order many many things from me.
I got the idea from wilton. It's a 3 school locker cake. I made all of the accents with BC and fondant. Its a 1/2 sheet cake, I divided into 3rds. I decorated all 3 seperate. Froze them. Then transfered to a cake board and then put the tri-color border all the way around. Very very fun to do.

I tried to make a checkerboard around the sides, but it didn't quite turn out the way I wanted...so I redid it with just star patterned black dots.
A woman wanted to have a cake made for her sons 18th birthday. When she saw the cake, she couldn't believe how well it turned out. She said that there was no way she could have ever done it.
I didn't like how the first one came out so I remade it. It was my first order!
Something I just threw together when school started this past August. The boys were surprised.
The 10 inch is a milk chocolate cake with BC, the 9 inch is a vanilla cake with BC, and the 8 inch is a carrot cake with Cream Cheese frosting. They wanted a variety, so the cake stand I have worked out perfect. I made cupcakes for all of them in the different flavors too. TFL
