'ranch' Cake

this cake is designed to incorporate our family's reunion and the venue we stay at every year. The cake is made in mmf and hand painted. Everything is hand sculpted. On the top there is the beach( beach towel, sand toys, flip flops, shells) with the lake to fish in and swim, along with the big rope swing the kids all love. Around the sides is the entrance to the "ranch" with a replica of the sign and a welcome sign for our family, the row of pines that line the road and the fence, Also I made a golf cart since each of the families get their own cart for the week. Then accenting the board are some of the activities we do made in mmf :bingo cards, candy for the candy toss, cowboy hats that the kids like to wear on the hayride, lunch boxes (which are actually breakfast boxes for the kids). A cross that represents the chapel where our family gathers to have church and the water pitcher that is found in the chapel with water flowing out of it representing God's spirit flowing out upon his people..TFL

Naturesque Tiered Cake

this cake is made in buttercream with mmf accents all made by hand. The customer wanted a cake for her daughter's 21 birthday that was very nature looking. I went with a waterfall idea with wild flowers and my attempt at willow trees. the topper is made of gumpaste and will be preserved as a Christmas tree ornament. TFL!

this cake was for a friend who loves scrapbooking. it is a 12x12 one layer torted cake frosted in b/c and a 12x 12 piece of fondant placed on top to resemble a page of paper. All of the embleshishments are mmf and the photo was printed off my edible ink printer. I hand shaped all the flowers, ribbons, wording and the broaches were made from silicone molds. TFL
