These cupcakes are a chocolate version of the White Almond Sour Cream cake, then they are filled with slightly under-done peanut butter fudge (so it won't set up). The topping is whipped chocolate ganache buttercream. They taste just like a Girl Scout Cookie, and if I have some on hand, I usually stuff one on top!
I made this cake for my niece's 1st birthday. The inspiration came from a variety of cakes here on CC. The bottom tier of the larger cake is my first go at a totally fondant covered tier. I used MMF and was fairly pleased with it! The MMF is also the detail around the bottom of the cakes, the mouse ear cutouts (freehand, pardon how sloppy!) and the other details on the large cake. The ear cake is covered and detailed with buttercream. The "ears" are all chocolate covered sugar cookies baked on sucker sticks. They were a hit with the kids!
I made a huge batch of these cookies to help a friend raise money for The Weekend to End Breast Cancer. They are NFSC with Rolled Buttercream. The detail is royal icing.
I was given a napkin as the "inspiration" for this cake, and I replicated the napkin design in layered fondant. The napkin is the second picture, just for reference.
I made these for our wedding open house/reception. They are NFSC done with a cutter from the Wilton 101 Cookie Cutters set. The icing is rolled buttercream colored with a small amount of royal blue coloring. The piping is Wilton buttercream with piping gel.
This was for my little cousin's first birthday party! He was obsessed with his toy bus, so I made him a bus cake. It's just white cake with buttercream. I'll also upload a pic of his smash cake, which was a stop sign with his name on it!
Each pot has three sugar cookies that were baked on sucker sticks. They are iced with buttercream. The inside of each pot is lined with saran wrap and filled with rice krispie treat with the marshmallows died green. The saran wrap was wrapped around the treat and the sticks and then I added shredded green paper for grass. I made a total of 18 pots of flowers as thank you gifts.
This cake was made as a "Thank You" to the teachers and staff at the school where I student taught. The cakes are plain white, the icing is buttercream. The flowers are buttercream I piped onto parchment and then put under a fan to dry out. I adhered them to the cake with more buttercream.
This cake was made for a church function at a church called "New River." The cakes are plain white cake iced with buttercream. The waterfall is MMF and the rocks are made of MMF and then brushed with powdered sugar for texture.
I designed and made this cake for a football party my husband's cousins were having. It is white cake iced with buttercream. On the side there are MMF football helmets iced to look like the team's helmets. They are adhered with buttercream. Thanks for looking!
