Hats!
This was for my daughter's 13th birthday. She loves hats and has a huge collection, so I had her pick her five favorites for a hat stack! The bottom three are cake, devil's food with chocolate fudge filling, white almond with chocolate fudge filling, and rum cake with chocolate fudge filling. The top two are RKT. The trim is all fondant and RI, with the exception of the rhinestones on all but the baseball cap. This cake was so much fun and she absolutely loved it!! TFL!

"fore!" (...ty-Eight...)
This was my hubby's b-day cake! OK, lessons learned...don't try to paint plaid freehand! (The lines bother me so much!) And invest in the ball separator sets! (It was surprisingly hard to get an exact size ball using fondant covered styrofoam...) But he really loved it, so I guess I'm happy with it!! TFL!!

Beaded Upside Down Cake
I made this cake for a friend's going away party. The "beads" were made from molded hard candy, and they dangled down the sides. The flower was silk. It was inspired in part by ChristinsCakes Chandelier cake. It really looked cool because of the movement of the "beads", but it was stressful to transport!! TFL!
