Gender Reveal Baby Shower Cake
This cake was designed based upon a picture the customer had given me that she wanted duplicated. I attempted to locate the original designer to give them credit, however there are several pictures online of this same cake by different decorators- so, thank you all for the idea~ This was a 12" square cake covered in ABC with fondant decorations.

Pink Green Flower Cake
This was a practice cake, but I suppose it could be used for bridal/baby shower or a little girls birthday. I took inspiration from a journal cover in the $1 section in Michaels- it had green/white stripes with pink/white polka dots and pink roses on it. I opted to make pink fantasy flowers with gumpaste buttons in the middle. I also made the "A" monogram myself with wire and beads. I hope that you like it- TFL!

Wedding Cake- School Final Project
I recently graduated from pastry school, where our final project had to be a "winter-themed" wedding cake. I took my inspiration from the classic stop-animation Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I tried to 'class it up' a bit so that it'd be more appropriate for a wedding. The top tier has edible pearls which represent snowfall, the middle tier has handcut reindeer and the bottom tier has 3-D Christmas trees. Rudolph's red nose is represented by the mound of red gumpastge flowers on the top tier. I was, overall, pleased with the outcome and hope that you enjoy it too! TFL!

Sculpted Cake
This was a cake we completed in our sculpted cake class at the French Pastry School. I worked on this cake with a partner and we spent approximately 24-30 hours on it. The luggage case, sailboat and red ball are all made out of cake. The teddy bear is made out of rice krispie treats and the soccer ball is the only inedible part- it's a styrofoam ball covered in fondant. Thanks for looking!

Purplicious Birthday Cake
This cake was made for a 7 year old girl and is a replica of a picture a customer sent me of another cake decorator's work. It is covered in MMF with fondant and gumpaste decorations. I did a bit of research to find who made the original cake so as I could give credit and the picture was taken from "The Icing on the Cake" blog by Marj Jenkins. She's really done some fabulous work and I would recommend checking her out. TFL!
