Hannah Montana Style Cake
I did this, with inspiration from all of the Hannah Cakes here of CC, last week for my daughters birthday. It was a big hit with all the girls!
Pooh Cake Topper
This was the topper for a cake I did for a Mother's Day cake for a friend's mom who loves Pooh. It was a small 6 in. plain butter cream cake with Pooh sitting on top. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the finished cake. I molded and sculpted him out of Fondant/Gumpaste mix
Thomas The Train
Here is my very first carved cake that I did a few weeks ago for a friends son. Unfortunately the heat got to it during transport and when I got to the party it fell apart! I didn't think to put dowel supports in it since it was only 3 layers tall. It was a disaster but my friends son was still happy to have a Thomas cake. Thanks for all the inspiration here on CC!
Happy Birthday Package
This was a cake I did for a friend's birthday recently. It was my first attempt at piping on an imprint. I definitely need some practice at it! The bow in made out of fondant.
This is the cake I did for my daughter's birthday last year. It is from the Wilton 2009 cake book. It was much easier than I thought it would be, but more time consuming than I thought! I was still putting it together when the guests arrived!
Baby Moon Cake
This is a smaller version of the larger baby moon cake I did last year. I did this for a friends shower a few months ago.
Baby Rump Cake
This is one of my first cakes that I did a year ago for a friends shower. Bottom cake is 10 in round covered in fondant, and baby butt is made from a 6 in round, cut down a bit, and covered in fondant. Legs are shaped with fondant.
