Needless to say I got halfway through, and almost chunked it all in the garbage. But it is what it is. Next time I will make sure that I have enough time to devote to this.

My Worst Nightmare!!

I made this cake for my son's eighth birthday. It was so humid out that I never could get the fondant right. The cake itself was so moist that when I carved it, it fell apart. Everyone said it tasted good. Live and learn. This was my first guitar cake.

I made this cake for my daughter's first birthday. It's the first time I use marshmellow fondant. It was supposed to have a cupcake on top but that fell apart, as well as the top tier. This cake traveled two hours before we got to our destination.I'll make another one for another party for her soon, so I'll get more practice.
