My mom loves to take a bath so I took Maisie Parrish's Spa cake and adapted it to fit what she likes. Including making her a bar of "Caress" soap, book, etc.

Almost my entire family plays WoW, including my 6 year old nephew. I made this for him with his class, faction and race crests. All decorations are made from a fondant/gumpaste mix. The buttercream is not iced smooth on purpose. It's the rough texture of the horde. ;)
This was my first attempt at making a ribbon bow. I struggled through it but i don't think it turned out too bad.
I wanted to try dabbling in chocolate molding. Figured I would just jump in with multiple colors and see how it went. I was pleased with the result. Need to work on the tapping more to get bubbles out.

Anniversary cake I made for my parents. My mom loves carnations so I thought I would put them on the cake. One layer yellow cake for her and a peanut butter chocolate layer for my dad.

This grandma loves Bears so I did a fondant/gumpaste bear holding "Balloons" with the number 80. Yellow cake with sky blue colored Satin Ice fondant. Daisies are also fondant/gumpaste and ribbon is just fondant.
Thank you Elisa Strauss for the inspiration on my attempt on her sushi cake. I used he vanilla cake recipe and make one cake with vanilla and one with almond. It was a blast. This was my first attempt and something other than a round, square or shaped pan. TFL
Satin Ice fondant on cake and for decorations. Wilton fondant and gumpaste flowers with wilton fondant on board. First time with leaving as marbling.
I made this for my moms birthday. I struggled with the frosting (as you can tell by the cake specks) but other than that I am happy with it. Orange flavored buttercream icing, with royal icing daisies.
Final cake. Satin Ice fondant. BC accents. Hand made roses. Top tier was strawberry and the bottom was WASC.
