Customer requested a royal looking, rosy pink queen cake for her friend turning 50. Crown is royal icing w/ perils. Both cakes iced in buttercream, covered with fondant appliques.
This was for a friends birthday who wears designer shoes. Lid and box are cake. Lid covered in fondant, box buttercream w/fondant accents. Shoe, tissue and flowers are gumpaste. This was my first attempt at a box, so not my best, but it turned out pretty cute!
This Mario Brothers cake was the 1st time using PVC pipe. Head is styro covered in gumpaste, body is pvc pipe covered in RKT & gumpaste. Cake iced in buttercream, w/ fondant embellishments. The arms aren't as clean as I would like them, but he turned out pretty cute!
