"fancy Nancy" Cake
Did this for a 3 year olds "Fancy Nancy" birthday party. The best cake I have ever done for sure. Chocolate cake with cherry filling and buttercream frosting, covered in vanilla fondant. Tiara was made with fondant and painted with luster dust. Butterflies are fondant with gelatin wings. Apple blossoms made with royal icing. Also made matching cupcakes for her friends party at school.

Soccer Cake
I did this cake for my daughters soccer teams end of season party. I was not prepared for the humidity, so my buttercream got very soft, and you can see the points on the ball. Very Frustrating, however the team loved it, and all the parents were very surprised that this guy with the tattoos could create such a delicious treat! Used the sports ball pan for the soccer ball. Sheet cake was yellow cake with a whipped chocolate filling. Ued crushed Oreos on the outside to create the "dirt".

Vicky's Birthday
This was really the first cake I have ever made. For my wife's birthday, I made everything from scratch, including, strawberry filling, buttercream, marshmallow fondant. I had no idea what I was doing, and looking at it now, it is very embarrassing, but it is a great testament to how far I have come since then. This was done February 2009.

Beef Cake
This was the first cake I did where I had actually received some sot of proper training. I think this is the first cake in the Wilton course 1 book. They want you to make a rainbow, but I wanted something a bit more manly. I illustrated the t-bone by hand, and then traced on parchment with piping gel.
