The Fondant Was Giving Me Fits And I Was Out Of Time This Is What She Wanted With The Cookies And Edible Images I Just Dont Know What I
The fondant was giving me fits, and I was OUT OF TIME! This is what she wanted, with the cookies and edible images, I just don't know what I did wrong, because I never saw the inspiration photo. I just got a link to the sheet set she was using for the nursery, and the flavors, and serving amount. I threw it together in 4 hours, because the email went to my spam, and I didn't see it!
I did this a LONG time ago, before I perfected my rose, or smoothing! It is tiny, about 8" tall, about 8 servings.
Delivered In Rain Storm.
I had to dab the sides to get the colors off the white buttercream where they ran. the gum paste flowers wilted and a couple broke...I had to walk through a flash flood, with water over my ankles, and I forgot to charge for the delivery!

I was really worried about this one. It is a 10" x 10". Snowflakes and flowers are gumpaste, trees are 50/50 coconuts are fondant. I really liked the way it turned out. Oh, airplane is just white chocolate Merkins molded with a wire stuck in.I cut stencils for the island and for the state with a Silhouette personal cutter. And the stamens are Wilton stamens. I hated the concept, but I think I rocked it! lol
Just made this over the weekend and discoved today that diso dust is plastic!!! Kinds freaked out! And feeling violent since my goofy 6 year old daughter ate the figure on the front.

Last minute, family order from my mother, who doesn't think she needs to pay for cakes! I was very tired and VERY bitter and grumpy while doing the cake. I think I would have been happier if I had done it with fondant. Gold airbrush.
Sorry pic is bad, it was taken with a camera phone because my real camera is broken. Covered with white chocolate MFF. Very nice to work with, and yummy, too! Tree is gum paste and monkeys are 50/50 mix.
This was for two ladies coming to Kentucky, one from Florida, and one from California. One was in her 20's and one in her 70's, so this is what I came up with! All fondant.
Ooh & Ahh
This was a freebie, (her Grandparents catered my wedding FOR FREE!) so I could do whatever I wanted! (Though I had asked for supplies, totalling $30, and was never paid) Covered in MMF, candy clay tree trunks, gumpaste leaves, buttercream stenciling, hand rolled fondant balls for border. Opera cream cake.
