Two different parties call for two different Jack cakes using FBCT.
My son requested a Jack Skellington cake for his birthday and I was happy to do it using a FBCT.

I had some issues with the cake not rising, then the black icing wasn't cooperating when I was trying to write, and as I was finishing my 5 month old decided to start screaming. I made this for my son's 3rd birthday. I used crushed graham crackers for the sand, crushed oreos for the dirt that is being put into the dump turck, green sugar for grass and brown sprinkle for the street. I had just had a baby so I wanted to make the cake simple, but still cute.

I made this for Thanksgiving. I used the Wilton pumkin cake pan for the cake, then I used royal icing to make the the fence and used smal pumpkin candies for the "pumpkin patch".
I made this three tiered cake for my grandmother's 80th birthday. It has edible images of her in at three different times in her life. Again, we took the pictures off before eating the cake.
I made this for my mom's surprise party. I used an edible sheet with a picture of her as a teenager. We did take the picture of her off before eating the cake, it just didn't seem right to eat my mom's face. LOL The cake isn't lopsided, it was the angle of my camera.
