A friend asked me to pipe happy birthday on a cake for her...then this happened haha I guess I got carried away, but she loved it, and so did the birthday girl.

I made this for my sister's birthday, she is currently getting her masters degree in chemistry, so there you go. It's chocolate orange (the flavor i'm doing for her wedding cake, i just wanted to try out a scratch recipe instead of from a box) all the tiles are fondant with black piping gel, next time i'll use buttercream for the piping though.
This is cherry chocolate cake (my mom's favorite) so I stuck with the cherry theme and put some cherry blossoms on it.
I made this for my 21st birthday last week and also for my grandfather's birthday. Its a scratch carrot cake with buttercream (next time it will be cream cheese frosting lol) and everything is made from fondant!
This is pretty much my first experience with fondant, I think it came out alright. This is an original design I came up with last weekend and I just had to follow through with it. The cross was a last minute decision because I had some extra space/extra green fondant dots but I love it. I had barely any of the tools I needed, so all things considered, it came out wonderfully! Oh and I'm trying to make my own cakes from scratch now, so we'll find out if they are yummy or not :)

This was a practice run for my sister's wedding cake. It's the first one I've ever made! I definitely have some improvements to make and I have a lot more creative ideas now so, there might be a few more practice runs to go.
Made this for my sister's bridal shower (her theme was daisies), it was my first decorated cake!
