Teachers at dd school ordered this. Full sheet carrot cake with cream cheese frosting with buttercream roses. I was so nervous to do such a large order. It came out just as they ordered it. It is to celebrate the year end of school. I know not really back to school, but did not fit in any other group. I was told that some teachers that do not like carrot cake loved this. Am I wrong to feel so excited. I have gotten several potential orders from this cake alone. Thanks for looking and keep baking.
Cake is doctored white, with buttercream and fondant accents. I had seen this cake here at CC, but sorry, I do not remember who did it to give them credit. (Thank You) I loved it when I first came across the picture. This was a last minute cake and the theme fit perfect. I love the results!!!!!!!! Hope you enjoy it also.
I'm so excited, just taught myself to do roses. Not great, but improving. Cake is chocolate/bailey's with Bailey's buttercream. Roses are chocolate buttercream to carry the chocolate theme. Please give me your input. Love all the helpful hints found here.
Well here is my first attempt at covering with fondant. I have seen so many beautiful designs and was just inspired to do something. I was ok with the way things turned out, just know it should be better. Just did not end up as SMOOTH as it should be. Top layer is buttercream with dots. Filled with dulce de leche buttercream. If I'm going to start trying things might as well do all new things. Am I crazy or what? Please give any helpful pointers. Much appreciated!!!!!
Cake for a baby shower with jungle theme. I did this cake before finding this website. OH MY! Pretty sad, I know. She seem happy with it. Also did onsie cookies. Man have you all opened my vision of decorating! Thanks for looking.
This is a diabetic friendly cake. My daughters teacher needed a cake for her husband. He had been very ill, but she said this really put a smile on his face. I would love to be able to write on cakes like I have seen here. The talent is amazing! If you have any input please let me know. I want to learn, learn, learn.
