This is my husband's 30th birthday cake. I saw the idea on this website first and just made a couple changes to it. Cakes were 8" (hummingbird cake), 10" (carrot cake), and 12" (dark chocolate fudge cake). I used crusting cream cheese frosting on the top two layers, and regular buttercream frosting on the 12". MMF on all three layers with cut-out stars of the same, painted with a combo of lemon juice and silver luster dust.
