Carrie's Shower Cake
My sister had a beach wedding in NC - she sent me a picture of their actual wedding cake which I modified and replicated for a shower back home in MI. I piped some coral out of royal icing but with the humidity that weekend they never actually set up or they would have been placed on top of the cake - instead i substituted with chocolate molded shells in a pinch. Thanks for looking - I don't know who did the actual cake in NC but it was much prettier than mine - I would credit the decorator who's idea I borrowed if I knew who she used but it was coordinated through the resort.

Meghan's Shower Cake
2nd cake in a week - wow - first time doing that! I have been so inspired by all of the cakes on Cake Central that I can assure you I have borrowed my design ideas. Thank you all for the amazing work you do - it helps newbies like me get inspired! The mommy-to-be wanted a soft stuffed animal looking giraffe and her nursery colors are the brown/orange/beige. She loved it! Thanks again for the inspiration!

Mary's Shower Cake
First ever bridal shower cake - for my cousin's fiance. Borrowed a lot of inspiration from cakes here on cake central - thanks! I was told the color of the dresses and that she was using pink gerber daisies. I made MMF for the first time and used it on the top tier - liked it - it was a little different to work with (tastes good) but I didn't make enough for both tiers. Additionally had 2 doz cupcakes with royal icing daisies topping them. The bride told me that the cake was very similar to the actual cake they ordered for their wedding. Thanks for looking.

Julie's Shower Cake
I borrowed a lot of inspiration from many people here on Cake Central. This was the first cake I have ever done for someone other than my kids. I sculpted each of the animals out of fondant. The cake ended up being very simple because I was ill when completing and figured the less I breathed on the cake the better!
