A cake for our church's 40th anniversary. Each tier was designed to reflect an aspect of the life of the church. The second tier from the top has a brown peak that is reminiscent of the church's roofline, the church's symbol and a green stole draped over it. The blue on the top tier represents the water of baptism. So within those parameters, I'm after an idea of how you think the colours go together - I picked the deep pink and the gold on the bottom for no particular reason apart from the fact that I knew I had a bunch of colours on the top two tiers, and thought there should be some colour on the bottom to balance it out, but I'm not really satisfied. Any suggestions? More importantly, what else could have been added o the bottom tier. The verse says, "Jesus said: Preach the gospel to all" and it's supposed to be the verse coming from the Bible on the right. It doesn't look like enough to me though.
Lemon mud cake 12/9/6 inch tiers. Gumpaste flowers and a 50/50 mix of gumpaste and fondant for ruffles on top and bottom tiers, and royal icing piping on middle tier. I'm never doing that bottom tier again. So much rolling!
Snowflake wedding cake. Navy blue fondant and white on top. Snowflakes are gumpaste with royal icing piped details on them. Cake is a layer of white, milk and dark chocolate mudcake in each tier.

Apple pie mud cake with caramel filling and white choc ganache. 9" round.All fondant with tylose flowers which were all soft when I put them on the cake because today is extremely humid. Hope it all holds up until tonight!

He's playing guitar at a local club, and the crowd who are going to see him will bring out the cake after his set. Hope he likes it! The music is "Happy Birthday".

A copy of a design by Pink Cake Box. 8 inch Vanilla pound cake and white choc ganache under fondant. Crown is fondant with tylose added. Mark 2 after the first one was broken when a picture fell off the wall on it! Tried out edible glitter on this one. I have shocking piping skills, so even impressed myself with the writing!
Bailey's Pound cake with Bailey's flavoured white choc ganache under fondant. Fondant bear. 8 Inch ounds, but I got a bit carried away and it ended up over 4 inches high. More cake can't be bad!
A town near us has a watermelon festival, and this was a birthday cake for a little boy going to the festival that day. Lemon WASC with lemon flavoured white choc ganache. Two 6 inch rounds carved for each cake.
