"Stump" is a cake dummy covered with chocolate fondant with fondant critters and puppy baby. I have also discovered tht if I put the cake on an over sized board I can write on it. Writing on the board decreases the stress...I really hate to writ on cakes! lol
Angry Birds For A 4 Year Old's Birthday!
These birds are made from several pans (small ball, small wonder, and sports ball) and combined to make the various shapes. All are iced with butter cream and have fondant accents.
The perfect cake for a 2 year old pirate complete with edible jewels!!! Hat is made of fondant and took several tries and a couple days to dry! lol
Dress Up Birthday Party
Mom wanted a cake to go with her little girls dress up party. The shoes are gum paste and the crystals are sugar...but the boa is real!! lol
I baked an 11X15, cut it in half length-wise, and stacked them. Then covered it with buttercreme and decorated with buttercreme as well.
I used a 3.5 inch cookie cutter to cut the cake and then stacked them and covered them with buttercreme. The pipe tops were cardboard covered with fondant. Mario and the flowers were made of fondant.
Snoopy "smash Cake"
I made a cake cut and stacked it then angled the roof. Snoopy is made of fondant but he's kind of heavy soooooo...I traced around him and cut out a piece of thin foam. He's attached with icing and the whole thing is supproted by straws!
The Christmas Princess
I made this cake for our family get together. The little girls almost more excited by the cake than the preents under the tree!
The shark is made of rice krispie treats covered with a thin layer of buttercreme and then grey, white, and pink fondant. The cake is covered with buttercreme.
Baby's "first Alarm" Birthday
This was for my grandson's first birthday. To make the flames I mixed red, orange, and yellow and then used a #16 star tip. The fireman was made in the Wilton pan.
This was decorated to match the party invitations. The smash cake was a small number "1".
Sheet cake iced with buttercreme. Then using a paper pattern I traced the bowling pins, cut down the pattern, traced a few more pins, cut down the pattern, and traced once more! Filled it all in using stars. Happy Birthday!
This is a 2 layer cake with buttercreme icing. I found a sketch of the Cardinal's logo and transfered it to the cake. The birthday boy loved it!
