This is a vanilla cake with bc frosting. Characters are royal icing, they were still drying before i could remove the paper.. my husband traveled about an hour away and took it off when he got there. Letters are Fondant. TFL :)
I had made a cake similar to this before, but it didn't turn out how I wanted it to. So I was so excited when someone else wanted the same cake but different colors!! The cake is marble & frosting is bc. all "lollipops" & "candy" are fondant & the green balls are gumballs. The colors were brighter in person :( TFL :)

Cupcakes for the ICU in a local hospital. My friends dad has been in for about 2 weeks and the staff has been very nice & attentive. I made thank you cupcakes because it's inexpensive & everyone there can enjoy it :) cupcakes are chocolate, vanilla, & lemon with vanilla bc. decorations are fondant. TFL :)

Cookies for a bridal shower. I made these as a surprise because I've been wanting to use my wedding dress cookie cutter. Then I couldn't find it.. so this is actually a balloon cutter. haha.. They are just a bit abstract :) They are lemon butter cookies with lemon royal icing.
Slot machine cake for a bridal shower. The couple is getting married in Vegas, so the bride had a casino themed bridal shower. This is chocolate cake with bc frosting. Decorations are fondant with royal icing writing. I had to use ugly colors together (orange & blue) b/c the bride is a huge Florida Gators fan.

My friend wanted to make a cake for her mom, so I tried to help her. It turned out okay considering she has absolutely no artistic/ creative talent. haha! She's not really a kid (she's 22) but I thought it was the most appropriate category. The cake is chocolate with chocolate fudge bc frosting. The top is filled with melted milk chocolate.
A friend of mine was in a dirt bike accident, so I brought him cupcakes to the hospital. The bc frosting, band-aid is gum paste & the heart is a sprinkle.
This was for a 1st birthday party. The mom sent me this pic & I did as well as I could. This was one of the funnest cakes ever :) For some reason I love the elephant ! The cake is all chocolate with vanilla bean bc. Animals are styrofoam balls covered in poured fondant. Everything on the animals is gum paste.
This was for my anatomy class. We had to do a presentation about a disease & I chose Cirrhosis. The first one is a healthy liver, & the second is a Cirrhotic liver. I put it under a projector & got a plastic knife & tongs & acted like I did surgery. It was pretty cool.

For a friends birthday who is fiends for chocolate covered strawberries. This is a chocolate & vanilla marble cake with lots of buttercream icing. my 2-year-old helped me dip & decorate the strawberries so it makes this cake extra special to me :) TFL!!
