This cake was adapted from a Lindy Smith book. It's my second attempt at a fondant covered cake. I made it for someone for mother's day.
This was my first attempt at using fondant for a cake. The table cloth didn't come out as nice as I would have liked. The turkey , peas, plate, and napkin are made from fondant. The mashed potatoes are made from icing with extra powdered sugar added to make it look a bit stiffer.
