Goldie's Christmas Cookies
Cookies inspired by my 14 year old Golden Retriever, Goldie! I found out how easy it is to color granulated sugar with Americolor Gels when I did the color for her fur. On a second try at these, I added a little cinnamon to the blend to add a touch of brown, and it turned out to be a better match for her, and tasted great too!

Mickey Mouse Collection
I did these cookies today for my cookie decorating buddy Chelsea's 11th birthday party. It was the first time I used the cutters, they were fun. On the two unfrosted mouse heads, I tried rolling a fondant mat over the cookie dough before I cut them out, I thought that came out rather neat.

Gnomes
I did these Gnome cookies last summer. The girl and guy gnome in the middle left row are made with Hammer Song cookie cutters (love them, very fun cutters) and the taller guy gnome is a cutter widely available. I have since had a baby gnome cutter made, but I haven't used it yet. I think it's time to bake some again!

Bunnies All Dressed Up
I bought these cutters from Karen at Victor Trading Company when we visited on our vacation last summer. I was able to watch her create several cutters for an order. She is a lovely person and a very talented cookie cutter maker! If you're interested in buying a cutter for yourself, the girl is #2511 and the boy is #2512.

Scottie And Jack Frost (Colored As An Elf)
The elf (Jack Frost) cookie just made me laugh -- I used red glace' for the smile and then decided I wanted white non-pariels on the scarf. As you can see, several of the white beads jumped into the smile to create a toothy grin! I love the Scottie cutter too, it's from Hammersong cutters.

Cynde's Crowns
This is my friend's first solo cookie decorating! We baked and decorated flag cookies together one time before this. She made these for her granddaughter's birthday, but her family barely commented on them. I told her I would show them off to people who know their cookies! Sugar cookies with Toba's Glace'.
