2010 Vancouver Olympic Torch Cake
My Sister is an Olympic Torch Bearer for the 2010 Vancouver winter Olympics, so I made her this cake. It is a replica of the torch. Made with chocolate WASC cake with buttercream filling and base coat. Covered in fondant and the logo and other decorations are in buttercream

Raiders Shield
Replica of the Raiders shield. Made from French Vanilla WASC with milk chocolate ganache filling and base coat with satin ice fondant. I blew up a copy of the Raiders emblem, glued it to poster board and cut each piece out then used it as a stencil. Pretty straightforward, although very very time consuming. This was my 9th cake since I took the courses and it was made for my Dad's Raiders themed 50th Surprise party. He was very surprised and even more surprised that I made this cake, lol!

Wilton Course 3 Final
This is my final cake for wilton course 3, though there is nothing wilton about this, lol! Chocolate MMF with MMF accents. (ok the loopy bow is made with wilton fondant, lol!) the bow is brushed with luster dust though you can't see it very well. Bottom tier is chocolate WASC cake with whipped ganache filling and base coat. Top tier is WASC with whipped ganache filling and base coat. This is my second fondant cake, my first time making and using MMF, and my first loopy bow. The bow looks a little funny b/c the directions I followed on here said to let the loops dry for 24 hours before assembling and they weren't dry enough, so the entire bottom layer of loops broke , so I had to be crafty for the pic, but the whole bottom of the bow is missing in the back :-( oh well, I know better for next time!
