50th Birthday cake. Buttercream frosting, fresh roses (used floral picks to keep the rose stems from touching the food). Lemon curd filling and vanilla cake.

My son wanted to have "Toad" from Super Mario Bros. games on his cake... then we added the "one up" which is the green toad.

This was a 4 layer vanilla cake with lemon curd. Fresh roses placed on top using floral picks I purchased at our local cake decorating store.

My first chocolate cake.. first groom's cake.... first time to chocolate cover strawberries... I was terrified!

Blue's Clues Birthday Cake

I was able to use the transfer technique with piping gel on parchement paper. Took picture of Blue from an old coloring book page. Was a lot of fun and my little boy was thrilled.

Goat Farmer's Birthday Cake

I think the "child's coloring" style is for me... not too neat and lots of fun. I wish I knew where to give credit.. but cannot remember where I saw the farm fields and the tractor on a few other cakes online... was able to get some great ideas from their effort... Thank you.
