A 12 x 18 WASC cake in chocolate, marble and white. It had a chocolate fudge buttercream icing filling and was covered in Indydebi's icing. It survived the heat beautifully! It was made for a cancer fund raiser in honor of one of our local firefighters. Thanks for looking.
An all buttercream chocolate cake with strawberry filling, covered in chocolate buttercream. The birthday girl loved daisies and her dog. I used brush embroidery for the first time on the sides of the cake & was happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for looking.
Experimenting! Chocolate cookies with Toba Garrett's glace. They took a lot of time, but it got easier as I figured out what I was doing. They were a big hit.
A variety of Christmas cookies, using NFSC and Toba Garrett's glace icing. It was a true learning experience! I've decided I love both of these recipes (especially once I figured out what the right consistency for the icing was!)

Cake made for a bachelorette party, where the girls were partying at home, rather than going out. Lemon cake with raspberry filling. All buttercream. I added lustre dust to the glass to give it the silver colour, and added a few "bubbles" over the top. The girls loved it.

A 12 x 18 white cake, 2 layers, with a lemon buttercream filling. The maltese cross and firehydrant are candy melts, highlighted with silver luster dust. The water from the hose is Wilton's blue sparkle gel. Cake and remainder of decorations are Indydebi's buttercream. This was made for a cancer fund raiser in honour of a firefighter with cancer. The black moustache is his trademark!

A vanilla cake with raspberry jam & buttercream filling. All done in buttercream. It had to travel to its' destination, so I decided to do the flat version, rather than the one with stand up turrets, since I wasn't delivering it. The birthday girl loved it!
three tier, black and white polka dot cake. Marble cake, all buttercream. This was my first wedding cake. The original decorator became very ill & I was asked to do something quickly. Thank goodness the bride wanted something simple! The flowers are silk, they match the bridesmaids' dresses. The topper was heavy, but I somehow got it to stay on straight. The bride was thrilled, I was relieved!
