3 layer, 6" strawberry cake w/ bc filling. BC icing, all fondant accents. Rattle was large and small styro balls w/ wooden dowel all covered in fondant. TFL! My BC was an odd batch this time and was sagging :( So sad b/c the rattle turned out nice.
Made for a friend's littler girl's baptism. All BC w/ fondant cross using clay gun and wilton flower punch set around the sides. My BC turned out so weird w/ this cake...was not happy w/ the smoothness :(
14" square, 10" round, dark chocolate w/ chocolate ganache filling and chocolate bc. Almonds atop layers and choc. covered fruit. "50" is chocolate satin ice fondant made using template and dried several days. TFL!
10" and 6" covered in fondant. All animals/trees made of fondant mixed w/ tylose. My fondant doesn't look too hot. First time covering a cake w/ fondant. It's MUCH harder than it looks. I need to watch my 'Flawless Fondant" dvd a few more times ;) This was for my son's first b-day :)
Sheet cake, 9x13. All b/c. Ship cut from template using fondant. Using ribbon cutter to mark planks on the 'wood'. Used vodka mixed w/ brown Americolor to pain sails and ship wood. Rope border using clay gun.
Hubby's family reunion cake. All b/c. Had to get it done really quick...not my best, but still one for the books :)
This cake was for my husband's boss. She's become a great friend to our family. She and her DH met and married at the University of Texas @ Austin. A sweet lil anniversary cake as a surprise. 6", all BC. Longhorn was cut w/ a razor blade from a template. Rope border using clay gun. I HATE my writing....I need to work on that! TFL! I pulled lots of ideas for this from CC :)
50 cupcakes for a carnival themed party. Those are fondant tickets atop each one.

10" and 6". All B/C w/ fondant accents. The baby carriage also in my album was stood up on top after it got to it's destination. I was at the shower and didn't take a pic :( It was for a friend and alot of fun!
A neopolitan cake...a layer of deep chocolate, a layer of WASC, and a layer of southern strawberry with fudge and strawberry buttercream filling. Sides in BC, w/ clay gun fondant accents. Top is fondant. Spinner is styro-board.
A 'quickie' cake for just 15 of our close friends. We had a surprise shower for them and needed something last minute. It's times like these I'm glad I have this hobby. 1 layer WASC iced /w BC, fondant accents.
Not my best work. Cake was for boy/girl twins in our family. They each wanted their own little mini cake...one spiderman, one Cinderella. That was easy. Base cake needed to be gender neutral...easy. However, mom wanted them stacked and the problems began. I feel like it looks very 'grocery store' which is not my style. Anyway....all BC...w/ some fondant accents on the mini cakes.

Beach themed birthday cake. First cake I've posted on CC! Used Sugar Shack's techniques for the first time, worked great. Butter cream iced w/ hand-made fondant palm trees, crab, octopus, flip flops, flowers were made w/ plunger.
