Jungle Jill Baby Shower Cake
This baby shower cake was created around the nursery bedding. The base is a 16" square cake (three layers), covered with fondant. The zebra and giraffe prints were achieved by using the Cricut Cake. The three top cakes are 6" (three layers also), covered in fondant and than sanding sugar for a shimmer. All of the decorations are made of fondant. I used two wooden dowels for the strength of the palm trees. The baby and flowers were made from a mold/cutter but the animals were scuplted by hand.

Topsy Turvy Graduation Cake
I made this cake for my sister's high school graduation picnic. School colors are red, white and black. My husband made a PVC stand to create the tilted affect. He modeled it after the Cake Study one found online, it was amazing, I was so happy with the strength of the structure. I used my Cricut Cake to do the zebra pattern, all the writing, ribbon on the 2nd tier and swirls on the top tier. The graduation hat was half a styrofoam ball covered in fondant, the only thing not edible on the cake. The tassel I made from fondant using a clay craft gun. The butterflies I made with a PME stamp/veiner - so much fun!!! I then used a PME luster spray in pearl to make all the butterflies sparkle :-) The 2nd tier was covered in black sanding sugar to give it texture and sparkle. The flowers were made from a gumpaste/fondant mix. It was a lot of work, but at the end of the day my sister loved it and it was a huge hit!!

Disney Meets The Yankees
This was for a baby shower with the theme, "Disney Meets the Yankees." The mother is a huge Disney fan and the father a huge Yankees fan. This is a two tier cake covered in fondant. The Mickey Mouse on top is a figurine I bought online. I made the baseball jerseys from fondant and painted them by hand. The baby converse sneakers were made from a template found here on Cake Central, they're gumpaste/fondant. I bought a scrap booking puncher to make the Mickey Mouse silhouette on the bottom tier. This was a really fun cake to make and the parents-to-be loved the personal detail.

10Th Wedding Anniversary Cake
This four tier cake was for a 10th anniversary party. It's covered in MMF. The pearls are all MMF that I hand rolled - 4 different sized.!! I then dusted them with luster dust for a shimmer. The pearls used for trim at the bottom of each layer were strung together on clear bracelet line, I gave them to the little girls as candy necklaces after the cake was cut. The scroll work was done with individual pearls that I attached with BC. The R was made from MMF and gumpaste and then dusted with luster dust. I was a little disappointed because it didn't come out as smooth as I hoped. I finished it off with silk flowers.

Topsy Turvy Graduation Cake
This cake was for my sister-in-law's high school graduation. It was my fist topsy turvy. I used chocolate MMF for the whole cake. The roses were fondant/gumpaste that I sprayed with blue food coloring and then used silver and blue luster dust to make shimmer. Her name and congratulations were done with royal icing and then put on wire. The congratulations was supposed to be above her name but the wires were too long and it was very windy so I ended up putting them on the second tier. It still worked. I used luster dust on the letters too.

Graduation Cake
This was for a surprise graduation party. The graduate loves pink, purple and blue. The cake is covered in MMF and the bow and gift tag is made from MMF and Gumpaste mix. I used buttercream for the purple scroll work and the writing on the gift tag. It's a 12 inch square cake, three layers of yellow cake with strawberry filling. I couldn't refrigerate the MMF so I decorated it two hours before the party, then I was in such a rush I forgot my camera and had to take this picture with my cell, not too bad.
