I made these for my Brother in law, who is graduating from Baylor University. I made No Fail Sugar Cookies, and made the decorations using the chocolate transfer method.
I used the no fail sugar cookie recipe along with Antonia74s royal icing for my first attempt at decorating cookies. I'm not sure why the icing didn't dry as smoothly as it appeared when it was wet though.
This was my entry for a local cake decorating competition themed "the great outdoors." All of the figures are fondant and gumpaste, while the details are made from royal icing.
