This is my 5th cake, done for my Beau's mom for Mother's day. She loves chickens and her favorite colors are black and white. top tier filling is a mint frosting, bottom is plain cream cheese. another 3am cake, so the silhouettes cant ALL be seen through the little holes. Each ladybug has a different personality, the lady bug in the back is angry for being covered in tiny ladybugs. my first ever "for someone else" cake. learned A LOT
Late night creation.
Made as part of a 4 cake ensemble. My first time working with fondant and I had to merge 2 recipes for it. It worked wonderfully and tastes delicious. I marbled the 2nd colored layer of fondant cause I ran out of time for a basket weave. By the time i got to the house the fondant had bumped out a lil bit.
