I am not very happy with this one. My daughter went into labor the night I was suppost to make it, and I had someone to take my 2 year old so I could work on the cake. So instead I had to make the cake the next day with my 2 year old at home. All I can say is what a disaster.

Waterfall Birthday Cake

This was a cake for my mother in law. My first time working with the gel. I put the idea together last minute, if I would have had the time and know how I would have liked to have made a palm tree for the top. Maybe next time if I can learn to make a palm tree. Thanks for looking

Baby Rump Cake

This is my first baby rump cake. I made it for my daugthers baby shower. I am just starting out, cake decorating, and with each cake I realize their is an awful lot to learn. Thank you to everyone for posting your photos and to susanscakebabies for posting instructions. If somebody could answer this questions "How do you make a smooth transition from the leg to the foot. I did this in 2 sections and the transition was not so smooth. Thank you.

Deer Head

This is my first sculpted cake. I made it for my dad's B-day. The ugly look of the rack is really how the rack looked. This was the only buck my dad has shot in 40 years of hunting. I don't think I could have gave him a better present. It took him four days to cut it, and he was smiling the whole time. Thank you to Diana Springer for e-mailing me directions, with out those this would not have been possible.
